Permanent Hair Removal for Men.

By Bev Langford

Today we discover the most popular choices for permanent hair removal for men.

Electrolysis.

Electrolysis is the sole FDA certified permanent hair removal system. It is fundamentally inserting a fine needle into the hair follicle and turning on a tiny electric charge. You can't do it yourself and will need to book in with a qualified electrologist.

It does hurt a bit to a lot depending on your skin sensitiveness. You will be needed to have several appointments for the same area to fully get rid of all hair growth. It can be a pricey option, in particular if you have obstinate hair growth.

Radio Frequency Hair Removal.

Radio frequency hair removing is precisely as it sounds. You use a tweezers tool to hold the individual hair or use tiny sticky patches applied to the skin. A high powered radio frequency is sent down the hair shaft through contact of the tweezers on the hair.

The radio frequency damages the hair follicle and stops the hair follicle from making hair. It is pain-free, aside from a tingling sensation. You could buy a use at home radio frequency unit but treating each individual hair can be very time consuming. You can only treat tiny areas at a time and you may have to go back at later and retreat the same areas time after time.

Male Laser Hair Removal.

Male laser hair removal is less painful than electrolysis and must be completed by a certified Laser Hair Removal Technician. It is becoming more popular choice for many men but isn't FDA authorized as a permanent hair removal option.

It can be a costly option and results can vary between individuals. Laser hair removing doesn't suit everyone. You have to understand that lasers work on the pigment naturally occurring in the hair and skin and is best on the combination of dark hair on light colored skin.
